How It Works

1. Submit Booking Request

Fill out the booking form with:

• Your rental dates
• What you're hauling
• Your tow vehicle info
• Confirmation you have proper equipment (hitch, plug, brake controller)

2. I Review & Respond

Response time: Within 24 hours

I'll review your request and check:

• Is the trailer available for your dates?
• Do you have the proper towing setup?
• Does the use case seem appropriate?

If approved, I'll confirm via email or text and provide pickup location details.

3. Pickup (Self-Service)

Location: Encinitas, CA (near Leucadia Blvd & I-5)

What to bring:

• Tow vehicle with 2" hitch receiver and 2" ball installed
• 7-pin wiring connection
• Straps / tie-down equipment (or rent onsite)
• Payment (cash, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or check)

Pickup process:

1. Arrive at scheduled time
2. Verify ball & wiring connection
3. Check trailer lights
4. Renter loads and secures cargo
5. Depart when lights are confirmed

Note: This is a self-service rental. Renter is responsible for connecting, loading, and securing cargo. I do not assist with loading or tying down.

4. Use Safely

You are responsible for safe towing:

• ✅ Stay within weight limits (~5,090 lbs payload)
• ✅ Secure your load properly
• ✅ Drive carefully (slower speeds, wider turns)
• ✅ Check lights and straps periodically

5. Return Clean

Return location: Same Encinitas pickup location
Condition: Clean, trash removed

Before returning:

• Remove all debris and trash
• Hose down if muddy or dirty
• Return by agreed time

Trailer will be inspected after return. Damage or excessive cleaning fees may apply.

Towing Requirements (All Required)

• ✅ Vehicle rated for towing
• ✅ 2″ hitch receiver with 2″ ball installed
• ✅ 7-pin trailer connector
• ✅ Brake controller recommended for heavier loads
• ✅ Valid driver's license

Renter is responsible for safe hookup and towing. Brake controller is strongly recommended for loads over 2,000 lbs.
